Welcome

Richmond Swimming Club (RSC)

Our Club Ethos.

To promote swimming in a safe and fun environment.

To encourage and assist our members to reach their individual goals

To ensure that our children are encouraged to progress at their own pace

To see swimming as an enjoyable sport and a skill that will be with themthroughout life.

To make sure that every child is made to feel unique and valued

Would you like to swim at our club?

Who are we?

We are a friendly, "non-competitive" swimming club, who offer a wide range of activities. RSC is affiliated with “Swim England” and have met the demanding requirements for their “SwimMark Essential Club” status. Apart from structured swimming sessions, we also offer distance badge evenings, survival sessions, and occasional Synchronised Swimming and Water Volleyball sessions.

Club Night.

We meet on a Friday evening at the Teddington Pool and Fitness Centre between 7.00pm and 8.45pm. Please remember, as mentioned above, we are a "non-competitive" club.

Membership.

Membership is open to all children between the ages of 6 and 16. Application forms are available either on-line (see the documents download link on the “Swimming Programme” page) or from our club venue at Teddington Pool. Prospective new Members will then be invited to attend one of our swimming evenings for an assessment. These assessments are quickly organised and will last approximately 20 minutes - and depending on available spaces, we will endeavour to allocate you a place at our club.

Please contact our membership secretary on our homepage link for further details.

We look forward to seeing you in the very near future.

If you are interested you can download a membership application form from the club documents link on the “Swimming Programme” page.

Fees.

The club membership runs from 1st April to 31st March and fees are paid pro rata depending on when you join the club. The current fees are as follows:

Joining fee - £25 per child

Main Pool - £165 per annum which includes insurance.
